PIN2 - Anticlone Access Card Systems

Anti-Clone Reader for HF Access Control System

The RD-N1356 is designed from ground up to counter the proliferation of cloned tags in the Access Control ecosystem. Designed as drop-in replacement for existing 13.56mhz Wiegand based readers, the user configurable Wiegand format enables seamless integration with most Access Control systems in the market without further reconfiguration.

Clone Detection Technology (Level 1)

In 2017, at the release of our first reader there was only 3 variants of HF Cloned Cards in the market. By 2024, at least 22 variants of cloned tags available in the market and along the way, we have spent countless hours working on methods to detect these newer variants.

Our reader is the only on the market that can detect so called "undetectable" variants such as FUID, UFUID, QL88 and HUID. The most recent variant, QL88 and HUID being the hardest to detect as unlike earlier variants has no detectable flaws on the surface.

Dynamic Key Technology (Level 2)

Our readers rewrite the tag's memory contents on each scan. Because reader tracks changes to the tag, a cloned tag, with outdated memory content can positively be identified. This technology previously only found in highly secured Credit Card contactless payment system is now available on our system. We are the first in the Access Control industry to implement this technology.

Emulator Detection Capabilities (Level 3)

The ubiquity of NFC capabilities in today's smartphones, presents a new threat to access control systems. Smartphone's NFC function operates at same frequency as HF Access Tags and can be programmed to emulate functionality of a HF Access Tag. The software defined functionality highly adaptable to counter measures presented by Anti Clone systems.

We developed technology to counter this by challenging the tag with physical test emulators can't overcome (unless they can defy law of physics!) Counter measures developed by us is also 100% effective against hardware emulators such as Proxmark3 series, Chameleon series, Flipper and many other lesser-known emulators.

Future Proof with Updatable Firmware

On average, 3-4 new variants of cloned tag appear each year. The clone vs anti-clone industry can be paralleled to the PC virus vs anti-virus industry. If the device can't be updated or the manufacturer stop releasing updates, it would be vulnerable to future threats.

When you choose PIN2 anti-clone systems, you can be assured that it is a future proof investment for the security of your property. Our R&D team is always on the lookout for new cloned tag variants and releasing new firmware updates to identify each new variant.
